Good Morning! These are definitely interesting times. I am currently on Day 6 of Self-Isolation, as much of the world is, and living alone, keeping my sanity through all this is of key importance to me. What has worked for me is having a daily schedule.ย So far, I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home which does keep me busy 5 days of the week.ย However, the weekends I wanted to remain somewhat productive. I’ve included my schedule below for my weekends.ย This has been pretty good so far and my spirits are up, at least thus far. ๐
Saturdaysย
9:00am – wake up and work out (I never get to sleep in until 9am so I’ve decided to take advantage of this! – no getting out of bed until 9am!)
9:30am – make breakfast and get ready for the day (this has been important to me – keeping some form of routine)
10:00am – Blog
11:00am – morning healthy snack – usually fruit (trying to maintain good eating habits)
11:15am – Go out only for needed groceries/supplies. (I also check with my parents to see if they need anything)
12:15pm – Lunch
12:45pm – play some games to stimulate my brain on IPAD/continue learning language (I am currently learning Italian on the app DuoLingo).
1:45pm – Free time to do anything that needs to be done or just to sit and do nothing/facetime family and friends
2:30pm – pm snack
2:45pm – walk outside ( I think its important to continue to get fresh air, just stay away from people lol)
3:15pm – clean/organize
5:00pm – Supper
6:00pm – Online Course – I’ve decided I’d like to take advantage of free time (something I don’t have much of in my “regular” life and learn something new. check out www.Alison.comย for many free courses in all areas!
7:30pm – watch some tv
9:00pm – Yoga
9:30pm – Read
10:00pm – Bedtime
My Sundays are similar but I swap out a few things, do some teaching prep (I teach dance) & working on something creative etc. Hopefully this helps or gives those who live alone some ideas on how to fill their days so not to get bored and/or lonely. ๐ Stay safe everyone and keep healthy!
